Bolts of lights scatter across the sky. Rain falling into the night like tears rolling from my eyes. Lighting flashing into the night sky, as the rain slips down the windows my eyes water again. Thunder rolling in the sky as my shadow of light, bolts and scatters across the sky. I can’t see the reason to why my tears keep rolling from my eyes. Like bolts of lightning they disappear into the night. Distance never separates the lighting inside; tears will always roll from my eyes. It’s the feeling of letting the lights connect and echo into the sky. Rain slips down my window and falls into a puddle, from the inside it’s all fine. Tears roll down my eyes to reflect the memories locked inside. For some the world may never know, the others hear the rolling thunder. The message must be sent, for every tear I have cried the words echo inside. I reflect on the reason for my tears rolling inside. As the tears I cry let someone know I’m not alone tonight. You may be miles away but distance never separates the lighting inside. Tears will always fall from my eyes, as many bolts of lightning light up the night sky.

I have a 55 gallon measurement 48" long x 17" deep, currently have 2x 15 watt 50/50 reef lights, and was wondering how much lighting i needed for a reef? Or are there some things I can put in with this much lighting? I just want to add some more colors... Any suggestions would be helpful what things to buy or what new lighting I might need... I don't really want to spend too much...

I have 6 recessed lights in my basement with white solid (not baffle) trims that are sized for R30 with no space on the sides. I would like for these lights to give off more lighting. I have video taped my daughter walking her first steps and other firsts, (we hang out here most of the time) and it's a bit dark. So, I'm thinking I need more light to get better video/photos. Will replacing the baffles (or whatever you call them) give me more light? If so, will reflective be better than step baffle, etc?

why is a bolt of lighting hot? and filled with power?

When they light up street illumination in cities like New York, it seems to be progressive and not all the lights are on at the same time. It seems like a "flow of power" turning them on gradually as it progresses through the wires. But I am quite convinced that it is just for effect or rather to protect the power network and not because electric current works like that. I think that physicaly when you connect power supply to a wire all the lights connected to that wire light up at the same time no matter how long the wire is. Is there any related material online describing this problematics of lighting up big cities?

I mean, the lighting in movies makes everything look more real. But the lighting in commercials and TV shows makes things look really cheesy and fake. What's the difference in the way the lighting is set up for movies and for TV shows?

I need to know what is the difference between power pack strobes, monolights, and continous lighting equipment. I also need to know what are the advantages? Disadvantages? And possible uses for each besides the obvious of "lighting?" I hope that makes sense. I just think that each lighting equipment is used to photograph particular things.

A lot of people complain that fluorescent lighting (which just has a few monochromatic wavelengths) makes them less attractive. Bars and night clubs have low lighting because it hides imperfections and makes people look better. Is there something about blemishes that makes them reflect certain wavelengths of light better than healthy skin? Can LED light arrays be made with certain wavelengths that make different types of skin appear the same shade? What about filters on cameras?

I am getting ready to finish my basement and will be designing an area with backdrops, etc. so that I can take pictures of my son. I have a decent camera for a point and shoot (Canon A630)...and am hoping to start taking some portrait shots of my 1 year old. Since the basement has little to no natural light, I am wondering what type of lighting I should install in order to get quality photos. Do I need to invest in lighting specifically geared towards photography or can I re-create that type of lighting by finishing out the area with a certain type of light? I don't know much about the different types of photography lighting available, but I can use some of the advanced options on my camera. I am definitely still an amatuer in photography, but I am hoping to improve. Any advice or tips would be greatly appreciated!

I have three floor lamps in my living room,all of them with flouroscent bulbs.I live in a apartment so I cant install any wall mount lights.The problem is that I do most of my work in the living room and only use bedroom for sleeping.I want more light to help me with my reading and laptop use,coze these lights are not enough.They were throwing white light in the beginning but now they are all yellowish and I hate yellow lights.It gives strain to my eyes and I can't read continously.I looked at some departmental stores lighting department but none them fills my expectations. Any ideas, solutions, suggestions. Thanks.......
