I have had chairs like these that break very easily. I know that Rubbermaid made a very strong white plastic chair years ago, but I think it has been discontinued. Syroco also had a great chair, but they went into liquidation recently.

My daughter has a Care Bear chair thing and I want to replace it but not sure what it is called? It has 2 chairs that if you line up the footrest sits in the middle and makes an oval. It is all cushion soft material. Any ideas what this is called?

I covered the staind up chairs I have in the kitchen. Well my 4 yr old likes to wipe his sticky hands on my chairs. How can I get the fabric clean without having to take all the chairs apart and take the fabric off and stick them in the washing machine? When I do that my time could average about 4 hours just unscrewing the chairs and putting them back on after washing them. It consumes way to much time and makes for a lot of frustration.

I would like to pick your brains about some chairs I have in my classroom at the high school where I work. The chairs are rolling office chairs and the floor is linoleum. The wheels can be removed, but, without the wheels, the chair is not usable to sit on because the pole in the center of the chair base comes down farther than where the wheels are attached. There is no money in the budget for new chairs (there are 33 of them), rugs or cushions under the chairs, or to carpet the room. The wheels are made of plastic. There is a small metal axle between the two sides of a wheel leaving space between them. The top half (but not the sides) of the wheel unit is covered by a plastic outer shell. Anyone have any ideas?
