I'm trying to throw together a killer looking room in my college house. I want it to look like you're outdoors when you enter, like a jungle or a woods. It also can't be too expensive, any ideas?

My mom's birthday is on the weekend and I was thinking that for part of her present I'd try to give the deck a little makeover. Right now there's not much of anything except an okay little table and matching chairs, some lawn chairs and ugly white plastic side tables. Anybody have any low-cost ideas on how to improve it a bit? Like some cheap plants or flowers (nothing very smelly b/c she could get allergic) or other accessories.... Did I mention the word "cheap" enough? LOL I'm broke at the moment. I plan to only spend about 20-25 dollars and hope to get a few things at the dollar store. What would make the biggest impact for the littlest cost?

I need ideas we are going to carve out a gingerbread family and make huge candy canes and lollipops around the house what other cool ideas are there?

I have tipsy pots. I would like to see pics or hear ideas of how to decorate them or arrange them for fall.

I asked thas already but need more ideas. I have a very small front yard (not really a yard ) so a grave yard won't work out.I know I am doin a goast out of white trash bag and hanging it in the walk way of our front door. I have NO trees in the front either. I need these ideas to be things I can make with my 3 and 5 yr old. Thanx for any ideas.

I purchased a glow in the dark skeleton and hung it outside but tonight it's not glowing......am I missing something???

What kind of material can you use for outdoor Christmas decor that imitates snow? I've seen it used many times but have never used it myself or known anyone personally that has used it. We really want to make the front of our house look like a winter wonderland. Someone told me to use batting that you use to make quilts but I have no idea what type or if this is what is really used. any help would be greatly appreciated.

I recently moved into my first house and the previous owner had lots of high maintenance vegetation. I'd like to spend time cultiuvating a produce garden and not really worrying about flowers etc but I would like some things to spruce up the yard. What are some examples of plants that need little to no care once placed in the ground that can liven up my yard a bit? -Also, I've been told that plants native to my area are easier so just for your information: I'm in Southeast Tennessee.

My neighbor "says" she is religious (I never see her or her family attending church). She doesn't believe the names witch, ghost, gobblins, monster, ghouls should be put up anywhere for kids to see. Nor does she believe any pictures depicting happy and friendly kinds of these same things should be in the yards. She went by one of my friendly pumpkin signs with the word witch on it and shook her head and rolled her eyes like I was a freak. What do you think?
