I would like to replace the glass with something else maybe like tile or something other than glass. Is there a way to do this and how can I start? I have no ideas how to begin.

We're setting up our new home and I'm a little bit IKEA'd out at the moment. I'd like to add some interesting creative elements like alternatives to the normal coat rack and living room table. Right... coffee table, I mean. My English is getting worse.

Hey everyone, So I have this glass living room table with a wooden base. My sister accidently bumped her glass on the edge of the glass and it dented with a little piece of glass flying off. I tried gluing back the piece, but it keeps on comming off. Is there anything I can do to fill that dent up? Please help me out!

and put lamps on them? Or would I be just fine with a living room table, sofa, recliner and the tall floor lamp? I want the best look.

The furniture is olive green. I can't find a lamp that would match. Silver would odd with the dark neutrals already going on and black would be to much black.

I have an open floor plan between my living room and dining room. I have chocolate brown sofas and light blue walls with white base boards and crown molding and a light cream carpet. The dining room has varying shades of hardwood flooring and a dark brown dining room table. (The walls are off white at the moment....they will be painted at a later date)

I only have a small living room and no dining room so I want to put a dining table and chairs in the living room. What kind of table do u think is best for living room? Round or square/rectangle?
